Electric cars require far more maintenance, so be sure to take yours in for regular service checks every 2 years. The service centre staff will inspect your car’s technical condition and, most importantly, they’ll check the condition of your battery.

It is not good for modern car batteries to become fully discharged. Therefore, to extend your battery’s lifetime it’s best never to let the capacity drop to 0%. If this does happen, stop in a safe place and call your assistance service.

The vehicle must never be towed with its wheels on the ground, even over short distances.

Rain, snow, or low temperatures will not stop you from charging. The system is safely designed so that no current flows into the cable until the charger is firmly connected to the car. The battery is very well protected against moisture and so the entire charging process is safe, even in the rain. That means you don’t have to worry about charging in a sudden downpour or in humid conditions. Bear in mind, however, that driving in low temperatures does increase consumption and thus shortens your range.

On colder days, it’s best to use the seat heating if you’re not going that far, as it uses less energy than heating.
